Quran 40:21 from Surah Ghafir on Divine Marvels.
۞أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَءَاثَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٖ
English translation: Do not they travel in the earth and see how was (the) end (of) those who were before them before them They were [they] superior to them (in) strength and (in) impressions in the land but Allah seized them but Allah seized them for their sins and not was for them against Allah any protector
Transliteration: awalam yasiru fi al-ardi fayanzuru kayfa kana aqibatu alladhina kanu min qablihim kanu hum ashadda min'hum quwwatan waatharan fi al-ardi fa-akhadhahumu al-lahu bidhunubihim wama kana lahum mina al-lahi min waqin
