Quran 9:69 from Surah At-Tawba on Divine Marvels.
كَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنكُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَأَكۡثَرَ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعُواْ بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِخَلَٰقِكُمۡ كَمَا ٱسۡتَمۡتَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُم بِخَلَٰقِهِمۡ وَخُضۡتُمۡ كَٱلَّذِي خَاضُوٓاْۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَٰلُهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
English translation: Like those before you before you they were mightier than you (in) strength and more abundant (in) wealth and children So they enjoyed their portion and you have enjoyed your portion like enjoyed those before you before you their portion and you indulge (in idle talk) like the one who indulges (in idle talk) Those worthless (are) their deeds in the world and (in) the Hereafter And those they (are) the losers
Transliteration: ka-alladhina min qablikum kanu ashadda minkum quwwatan wa-akthara amwalan wa-awladan fa-is'tamta'u bikhalaqihim fa-is'tamta'tum bikhalaqikum kama is'tamta'a alladhina min qablikum bikhalaqihim wakhud'tum ka-alladhi khadu ulaika habitat a'maluhum fi al-dun'ya wal-akhirati wa-ulaika humu al-khasiruna
