Quran 8:7 from Surah Al-Anfaal on Divine Marvels.
وَإِذۡ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ إِحۡدَى ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيۡنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمۡ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيۡرَ ذَاتِ ٱلشَّوۡكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمۡ وَيُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُحِقَّ ٱلۡحَقَّ بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦ وَيَقۡطَعَ دَابِرَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
English translation: And when promised you Allah one (of) the two groups that it (would be) for you and you wished that (one) other than that (of) the armed would be for you But intended Allah to justify the truth by His words and cut off (the) roots (of) the disbelievers
Transliteration: wa-idh ya'idukumu al-lahu ih'da al-taifatayni annaha lakum watawadduna anna ghayra dhati al-shawkati takunu lakum wayuridu al-lahu an yuhiqqa al-haqa bikalimatihi wayaqta'a dabira al-kafirina
