Quran 7:148 from Surah Al-A'raaf on Divine Marvels.
وَٱتَّخَذَ قَوۡمُ مُوسَىٰ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِنۡ حُلِيِّهِمۡ عِجۡلٗا جَسَدٗا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌۚ أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ أَنَّهُۥ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمۡ وَلَا يَهۡدِيهِمۡ سَبِيلًاۘ ٱتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ
English translation: And took (the) people (of) Musa from after him from their ornaments a calf an image [for] it (had) a lowing sound Did not they see that it (could) not speak to them and not guide them (to) a way They took it (for worship) and they were wrongdoers
Transliteration: wa-ittakhadha qawmu musa min ba'dihi min huliyyihim ij'lan jasadan lahu khuwarun alam yaraw annahu la yukallimuhum wala yahdihim sabilan ittakhadhuhu wakanu zalimina
