Quran 6:165 from Surah Al-An'aam on Divine Marvels.
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَٰٓئِفَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَرَفَعَ بَعۡضَكُمۡ فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٖ دَرَجَٰتٖ لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ فِي مَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَغَفُورٞ رَّحِيمُۢ
English translation: And He (is) the One Who (has) made you successors (of) the earth and raised some of you above others (in) ranks so that He may test you in what He has given you Indeed your Lord (is) swift (in) the punishment and indeed He (is) [certainly] Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration: wahuwa alladhi ja'alakum khalaifa al-ardi warafa'a ba'dakum fawqa ba'din darajatin liyabluwakum fi ma atakum inna rabbaka sari'u al-'iqabi wa-innahu laghafurun rahimun
