Quran 41:17 from Surah Fussilat on Divine Marvels.
وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ ٱلۡعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمۡ صَٰعِقَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
English translation: And as for Thamud We guided them but they preferred [the] blindness over the guidance so seized them a thunderbolt (of) the punishment humiliating for what they used (to) earn
Transliteration: wa-amma thamudu fahadaynahum fa-is'tahabbu al-'ama ala al-huda fa-akhadhathum sa'iqatu al-'adhabi al-huni bima kanu yaksibuna
