Quran 39:42 from Surah Az-Zumar on Divine Marvels.
ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلۡأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوۡتِهَا وَٱلَّتِي لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِي مَنَامِهَاۖ فَيُمۡسِكُ ٱلَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
English translation: Allah takes the souls (at the) time (of) their death and the one who (does) not die in their sleep Then He keeps the one whom He has decreed for them the death and sends the others for a term specified Indeed in that surely (are) signs for a people who ponder
Transliteration: al-lahu yatawaffa al-anfusa hina mawtiha wa-allati lam tamut fi manamiha fayum'siku allati qada alayha al-mawta wayur'silu al-ukh'ra ila ajalin musamman inna fi dhalika laayatin liqawmin yatafakkaruna
