Quran 30:9 from Surah Ar-Room on Divine Marvels.
أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَأَثَارُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَآ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَٰكِن كَانُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
English translation: Have not they traveled in the earth and observed how was (the) end (of) those before them before them They were mightier to them (in) strength and they dug the earth and built (on) it more than what they have built (on) it And came (to) them their Messengers with clear proofs So not was Allah to wrong them but they were themselves (doing) wrong
Transliteration: awalam yasiru fi al-ardi fayanzuru kayfa kana aqibatu alladhina min qablihim kanu ashadda min'hum quwwatan wa-atharu al-arda wa'amaruha akthara mimma amaruha wajaathum rusuluhum bil-bayinati fama kana al-lahu liyazlimahum walakin kanu anfusahum yazlimuna
