Quran 3:156 from Surah Aal-i-Imraan on Divine Marvels.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَقَالُواْ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ إِذَا ضَرَبُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَوۡ كَانُواْ غُزّٗى لَّوۡ كَانُواْ عِندَنَا مَا مَاتُواْ وَمَا قُتِلُواْ لِيَجۡعَلَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسۡرَةٗ فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ
English translation: O you who believe[d] (Do) not be like those who disbelieved and they said about their brothers when they traveled in the earth or they were fighting if they had been with us not they (would have) died and not they (would have) been killed So makes Allah that a regret in their hearts And Allah gives life and causes death and Allah of what you do (is) All-Seer
Transliteration: yaayyuha alladhina amanu la takunu ka-alladhina kafaru waqalu li-ikh'wanihim idha darabu fi al-ardi aw kanu ghuzzan law kanu indana ma matu wama qutilu liyaj'ala al-lahu dhalika hasratan fi qulubihim wal-lahu yuh'yi wayumitu wal-lahu bima ta'maluna basirun
