Quran 2:251 from Surah Al-Baqara on Divine Marvels.
فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُۗ وَلَوۡلَا دَفۡعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعۡضَهُم بِبَعۡضٖ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
English translation: So they defeated them by (the) permission (of) Allah and killed Dawood Jalut and gave him Allah the kingdom and the wisdom and taught him that which He willed And if not (for the) repelling (by) Allah [the] people some of them with others certainly (would have) corrupted the Earth [and] but Allah (is) Possessor (of) bounty to the worlds
Transliteration: fahazamuhum bi-idh'ni al-lahi waqatala dawudu jaluta waatahu al-lahu al-mul'ka wal-hik'mata wa'allamahu mimma yashau walawla daf'u al-lahi al-nasa ba'dahum biba'din lafasadati al-ardu walakinna al-laha dhu fadlin ala al-'alamina
