Quran 2:229 from Surah Al-Baqara on Divine Marvels.
ٱلطَّلَٰقُ مَرَّتَانِۖ فَإِمۡسَاكُۢ بِمَعۡرُوفٍ أَوۡ تَسۡرِيحُۢ بِإِحۡسَٰنٖۗ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمۡ أَن تَأۡخُذُواْ مِمَّآ ءَاتَيۡتُمُوهُنَّ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّآ أَن يَخَافَآ أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِۖ فَإِنۡ خِفۡتُمۡ أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡهِمَا فِيمَا ٱفۡتَدَتۡ بِهِۦۗ تِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَعۡتَدُوهَاۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
English translation: The divorce (is) twice Then to retain in a reasonable manner or to release (her) with kindness And (it is) not lawful for you that you take (back) whatever you have given them (wives) anything except if both fear that not they both (can) keep (the) limits (of) Allah But if you fear that not they both (can) keep (the) limits (of) Allah then (there is) no sin on both of them in what she ransoms concerning it These (are the) limits (of) Allah so (do) not transgress them And whoever transgresses (the) limits (of) Allah then those they (are) the wrongdoers
Transliteration: al-talaqu marratani fa-im'sakun bima'rufin aw tasrihun bi-ih'sanin wala yahillu lakum an takhudhu mimma ataytumuhunna shayan illa an yakhafa alla yuqima hududa al-lahi fa-in khif'tum alla yuqima hududa al-lahi fala junaha alayhima fima if'tadat bihi til'ka hududu al-lahi fala ta'taduha waman yata'adda hududa al-lahi fa-ulaika humu al-zalimuna
