Quran 18:55 from Surah Al-Kahf on Divine Marvels.
وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِذۡ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَيَسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ سُنَّةُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ أَوۡ يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ قُبُلٗا
English translation: And nothing prevents men that they believe when has come to them the guidance and they ask forgiveness (of) their Lord except that comes to them (the) way (of) the former (people) or comes to them the punishment before (them)
Transliteration: wama mana'a al-nasa an yu'minu idh jaahumu al-huda wayastaghfiru rabbahum illa an tatiyahum sunnatu al-awalina aw yatiyahumu al-'adhabu qubulan
