Surah An-Nahl 16:35

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشۡرَكُواْ لَوۡ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖ نَّحۡنُ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمۡنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ فَهَلۡ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

English translation: And said those who associate partners (with Allah) If Allah (had) willed Allah (had) willed not we (would) have worshipped other than Him other than Him any thing we and not our forefathers and not we (would) have forbidden other than Him other than Him anything anything Thus did those who (were) before them (were) before them Then is (there) on the messengers except the conveyance clear

Transliteration: waqala alladhina ashraku law shaa al-lahu ma abadna min dunihi min shayin nahnu wala abauna wala harramna min dunihi min shayin kadhalika fa'ala alladhina min qablihim fahal ala al-rusuli illa al-balaghu al-mubinu
